Prospector's Bluff Card Game - Limited Gold Edition
Meet the Prospectors of the Gold Edition
Nell & Goldie Claybourne — Sisters bound by grit and gold fever, the Claybourne sisters staked their claim when few believed two women could hold their ground in a boomtown built on rivalry. They may bicker a lot, but what one sister couldn't defend alone, the other made sure was never lost.
Willie Willard & Lucky Dobbs — Best friends who struck it rich together and swore never to let a claim jumper come between them. Where Willie brought the nerve, Lucky brought the fortune. Together, they became known as the pair no rival dared to challenge twice.
In the boomtowns of the California and Nevada gold rushes, a rich claim was never truly safe. With law enforcement scarce and fortunes at stake, "claim jumping" became one of the era's most notorious dangers, as rival prospectors moved in to seize ground others had already staked. Disputes were often settled not in a courtroom, but by whoever could hold their ground.
The Gold Edition includes two unique wooden cards: one engraved "Mined All Mine," the other "Claim Jumped."
Special Gold Edition Rule:
Whenever a player attempts to Claim Jump another player's Gold shaft, the defending player (the shaft's owner) shuffles the two wooden cards face-down and holds them out. The attacking player draws one without looking at the other.
- Whoever holds the "Mined All Mine" card takes the claim.
