Prospector's Bluff Card Game - Limited Copper Edition
Meet the Prospectors of the Copper Edition
Iris Gunderson — Practical and unshakably determined, Iris learned early that fortune wasn't always found in the ground first dug. What others discarded, she made her business to reclaim.
Rusty Beauregard — Weathered and resourceful, Rusty built a reputation not for striking it rich, but for never walking away empty-handed. Where richer men moved on, Rusty stayed behind and worked the scraps.
Copper mining in the 1800s was rarely a clean or complete process. Early extraction methods left plenty of usable ore behind in the tailings, the waste piles larger operations abandoned once they moved on to richer ground. Smaller prospectors and scavengers made a living sifting through these discarded piles, often finding copper others had overlooked entirely. In the boomtowns, patience with the rubble could pay off just as well as the first strike.
The Copper Edition includes 6 Wooden "Copper" Tailings Chits.
Special Copper Edition Rule: Banked Scraps
Each time a player successfully mines a Copper shaft, they collect one Copper Tailings Chit (only 6 are available total!).
The first time mines collapse from a Tremor card, all players may turn in their banked Chits to sift through the rubble (discard) pile, Re-sift rights begin with the player who drew the Tremor card and proceeds in normal turn order. 1 Chit may be exchanged for ANY 1 scrap ore card and placed directly into ANY bank of redeeming player's choosing.
This is a one-time event. Once the first Tremor collapse has passed, no further Tailings Chits may be collected or turned in.
